La Cimbali Company History

Started in 1912, La Cimbali began the commercial production of coffee machines in the 1930s with technology still seen today (the principles of creating great espresso haven’t changed throughout the years). By 1945 La Cimbali were creating machines with internal boilers and group heads which look very  similar to the commercial coffee machines we see today in cafes and coffee shops around the world.

Roll on to the 1960s where we see La Cimbali experiment with their first automatic ‘bean to cup coffee machine,’ called the superbar. Since then La Cimbali have gone from strength to strength and produced some of the best commercial coffee machines in the world.
